Fact Finders
Easily view, edit, search, sort and filter, your client’s fact finders from the SMART Insure™ fact finders page.
Click on the Clients name to view the fact finder.
Adding A Fact Finder:
- Click Add Fact Finder from the top menu under Fact Finders or click Add New from the “Fact Finders” page.
- Click Download Empty Fact Finder – to download the Fact Finder in a Word Doc if you wish to use a hard copy
- Click Publish from the right hand panel if you wish to collect the facts online.
Priority Planning Checklist:
Enter the client’s and partner’s order of priority by numbering with 1-6 (1 being the most important and 6 being the least important).
Assets and Liabilities:
Enter the assets and liabilities for the client and partner. The total assets, total liabilities, and total equities will be automatically calculated for you.

Will:
Select whether the client and/or the partner has a will and the date of the will.
Interest Earning Rate Expectation:
Enter the interest rate the client and partner expect to earn.
Inflation:
Enter the estimated inflation rate.
Regular Continual Income:
- Enter the “Income/Capital Required” for Last Expenses, Death, Disability, Trauma, Medical, and Education.
- For each column, enter the amount the Client and Partner are willing to use from each of their Assets e.g. $1000 of shares for “Last Expenses”.
- You will not be able to exceed the amount entered in “Assets”.
Immediate Debt Fund:
Enter the amount the Client and Partner wish to pay off for each debt upon their death.
Education Funding Requirements:
- Click Add Dependant to add a new row
- Enter the Dependant’s Name, Amount (education expense per year), Years (number of years of education), and Total.
Actions:
In the right hand panel, you have the following actions:
- View Client Details – View the Clients profile page.
- Delete – Delete the Fact Finder.
- Download Completed Report – Download Word Doc of the completed Fact Finder.
- Download Empty Fact Finder – Download Word Doc of an empty Fact Finder.
- Exit – Exit the page.
- Update – Save any changes made.
